Many of us think that being fit is obviously the same as being healthy but is it really true?

What exactly is fitness according to you? is it Working out for hours or having a greatly sculptured body or eating carbs-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free?

To put it in simple terms good immunity, physical and mental strengths sum to a great and fit body. Many people put in bottles of protein powder, pop thousands of pills, and work out for hours to achieve this. By doing all these things we are actually torturing our bodies by killing healthy gut bacteria instead of maintaining our health and being too harsh on our diet affects our mental health. Let's bust some myths about fitness.

Myth

Truth

Nil or very fewer carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are really important for our brain, Kidneys, heart, and nerve functionality. If you want your brain to die just quit eating carbs.

Too Much protein intake

Extra calories regardless of source will eventually be stored as fat.

Totally Avoiding starch and gluten.

Starch is a great source of carbs you may suffer from Nausea, extreme hunger, and some mental issues due to lack of carbohydrates.

Working out for hours

Too much is always too much 40min work out 5-6 days a week is enough to keep us healthy.

Avoiding salt intake

72% of our body is made up of water and salt is the most essential thing to retain water. Low salt levels may lead to bad dehydration.

Being too harsh on diet.

Remember we have only one life let's chill bro having a cheat meal once a week will keep you motivated for next week.

Eating a lot of greens never helps you keep fit. Remember all herbivorous animals like elephants, cows, etc weigh many times more than human beings and all they eat is grass no oil, no sugar, no dairy nothing.

We can eat anything we want but in a limited amount based on our height and physical activity. Yeah! That's the ultimate fitness mantra.

Also being fit always includes mental health, there is no better exercise than meditation and getting our hands dirty with our favorite hobbies. For maintaining good mental health. There are so many sounds, chants, and smells that boost our endorphin and serotonin levels.
